SMORGASBURG

Smorgasburg has become a true New York staple. Beginning in 2011 as just a small food market, Smorgasburg has since grown into a massive, weekly food event in three popular NYC locations: the World Trade Center, Prospect Park and, of course, its birthplace, Williamsburg, BK.

Coined the “Woodstock of eating,” Smorgasburg is so well-loved because each location offers dozens and dozens of New York’s top food vendors and food trucks that embody the diversity of New York City. From Chinese and Tibetan delicacies to American and Italian comfort food, there’s nothing you won’t find— or fall in love with— when you hit Smorgasburg 2023.

MOMO CRAWL

NYC’s annual Momo Crawl brings in dozens of vendors to compete for the title of best dumplings.

Beginning in 2015 in Jackson Heights, the event has grown in popularity and attracted foodies from around the city and beyond, and is now going on its 6th consecutive year.

So, how does it work?

Participants purchase tickets that give them access to a map of participating vendors and a ballot to vote for their favorite momo, offered for just $1! The competition is a celebration of diverse cultures that makeup NYC, especially Tibetan and Nepalese immigrants that expose New Yorkers to their home through delicious food.

So get ready to crawl your way through Jackson Heights at this spring food event in 2023.
